Here is a short list of the most commonly asked questions about cranes.

How often should I grease my crane?

Depends on usage, but minimum once a month. You can check with your operator/maintenance manual from the manufacture as well.

How often should I change filters and oil?
We recommend to change pressure & return filters twice a year and hydraulic oil once a year during your annual inspection.
How often should I grease my crane?
Typically every two weeks but it also depends on usage. Your maintenance manual will have recommended intervals per your crane.
How often should I have my crane inspected?
Once a year by a qualified dealer, but the operator should be performing daily inspections.
Is it required to have electronics/computer on the crane?
It is not required to have a electronic load limiting device. A hydraulic load limiting device meets requirements.

Does the operator need to be certified?
It depends on how it is being used and what industry. Some industries have been exempt from needing to be certified, but it is always recommended to be certified.
